MILLWALL LIONESSES 5, CRYSTAL PALACE LADIES 0
A very promising match for a very young and talented Lionesses squad. We played 3 periods of 30 minutes.
We won the game 5-0 and first goal scored from Jasmine Auguste from a 25yard shot that found the top left corner, a similar situation occurred on the second goal with Frankie Strugnell scoring from distance.
After the second goal we started to dominate the game and the 3rd goal came shortly afterwards from a penalty. Kasia Vigor calmly slotting the ball past the keeper. Minutes later Kasia scored her second and the Lionesses 4th goal by chipping the Palace keeper.
Our 5th goal came from our corner, which the Palace defence cleared l but only as far as Snezana Molosevic Who picking up the loose ball hit a 35yard screamer that went straight in past their keeper who was unsighted by the number of bodies in the area.
Over all a very good test for the Lionesses who put in a great team effort, It was good to see them working hard and patiently building up the play around a very physical and skilful Crystal Palace side
