SUNDAYS SQUAD ANNOUNCED

On Sunday the 28th August the Lionesses are facing West Ham Ladies FC at Thurrock FC, Ship Lane Grays Essex RM19 1YN.
The Lionesses are looking forward to this local derby game and are aiming to go and pick the first three points of the season. The Lionesses were disappointed not to taste the first victory vs Plymouth Argyle LFC last week as they seemed to dominate the game with two excellent goals by Kasia Viggor and a world class solo goal by Shauni Grifiths.
Deborah Cole will be in goal and she is looking to keep her fist clean sheet this week. Dionne Lennon will be leading the defence with Cally Beumont, Snezana Malesevic and Franceska Strugnell in defence. New signing from Charlton Athletic LFC Francesca Ali is thrown in the line up adding lots of experience and class in the midfield and supported by Demi Brown and Egle Trezzi.
Kassia Viggor and Shauni Grifiths are looking to better their score this week with Angharad Chambers hungry for her first goal.
Ria Popovic and Isabel Kulinski have been called up to the first team for the first time with Joanna Goodwin and Michael Cioran completing the squad.
The Reserves are playing Carshalton Athletic Ladies this Sunday at their last pre-season game at Eltham Foundation School, Middle Park Avenue, Eltham SE9 5EQ in a free entry game.
