LAST MINUTE PENALTY GIVE LIONESSES A POINT

Millwall Lionesses fighting sprite again showed for the second week running when with less than ten minutes remaining, two goals down and reduced to ten players they came back to earn a deserved 2-2 draw against Tottenham hotspur.
Two goals .one direct from a free kick and the second headed in from a corner gave Spurs a commanding 2-0 half time lead.
With 20 minutes to go the Lionesses was reduced to ten with a defender being sent off for retaliation after being caught in the face. The Spurs player was yellow carded for her part in the incident.
The Lionesses pulled on back with five minutes remaining when Kasia Viggor was put through and from a tight angle drove the ball into the net.
The final minute saw Viggor put through again, rounded the last defender but was taken out by the advancing keeper as she was about to shoot.
To everyone surprise the keeper was allowed to remain on the pitch to face the penalty. only getting a yellow. After a lengthy wait for treatment to Viggor. Joanne Woodgates calmly slotted home the penalty to give the Lionesses a share of the points
